Alan Jese Rivas Muñoz is an Industrial Physics Engineering graduate from Tecnológico de Monterrey, recognized among the top 1% of students in the engineering department. He has conducted research internships at prestigious institutions including Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on medical imaging, nuclear medicine, and deep learning applied to fetal brain MRI and SPECT imaging.
He is currently enrolled to the Biomedical PhD program, he is deeply committed to bridging the gap between science, technology, and social equity in Latin America. Alan aims to break barriers and expand access to innovation and education in underserved communities across the region. He believes in creating opportunities for vulnerable populations through the responsible and inclusive use of technology.
Alan co-founded “El Rey del Paste,” a fast-food business in Monterrey. He loves soccer, astronomy, climbing and boxing.
