Bowen is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at Washington University, studying American politics, formal theory, and methodology. He principally studies issues of accountability and political representation in Western democracies.
Prior to WashU, Bowen worked in finance as a Quantitative Research Analyst and studied political economy at the University of Chicago.
In his free time, Bowen enjoys playing poker, hiking, watching ice hockey (go Wolves), and caring for the environment.
