Dicle is currently pursuing a PhD in Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering at WashU. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with high honors from Middle East Technical University, where she completed an undergraduate thesis on stochastic simulations of polymerization and surface reactions. She also holds an MSc with distinction in Advanced Chemical Engineering with Process Systems Engineering from Imperial College London. For her MSc thesis, she developed a hybrid machine learning–QSPR model to predict the surface tension profiles of surfactants. Outside of academia, Dicle is a former flag football player and enjoys running outdoors.
