Yicheng Teng graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Tsinghua University in 2025. His research focuses on reinforcement learning, data-driven decision making, and nonparametric statistics, with applications primarily in business and healthcare. He aspires to establish himself as a leader in academia or the business world.
Passionate about volunteerism, Yicheng served as a Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics volunteer (contributing 200+ service hours) and taught at schools for children with disabilities. He also organized educational programs in underprivileged regions, demonstrating his commitment to helping disadvantaged students overcome challenges through accessible learning.
He has three passions: piano, Formula 1 racing, and esports. His favorite piano masterpiece is Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, while in sports, he admires Formula 1 driver Zhou Guanyu and supports esports team Edward Gaming.
